Ashley Jordan (AJ) | She, They, We
AJ is the Company Director for Ascension dance and on the teaching team for Ascension Youth.
Ashley studied at the University of Chichester where he was awarded a Masters (MA) in Dance Performance and a BA (hons) in Dance. He was nominated for the Rising Star award at the Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards 2017. Having previous training in parkour, freerunning and gymnastics, Ashley is keen to explore how these disciples can be combined with dance to create choreography. He is passionate about extending dance opportunities to young people, particularly in nurturing an interest for dance in boys and young men.

Kieran graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2015. Upon graduating Kieran joined the Michael Clark Company, with whom he toured nationally and internationally.
In 2018 he joined Tavaziva for their Izindava Tour. Kieran then began teaching for Italia Conti Academy and Laine theatre Arts.
Abi Mortimer | A Pinch of Seasoning
Abi co-founded Lila Dance in 2006 and has received arts council funding to create 11 works on the company, that have undergone national & rural tours, international performances and festivals. In her early career Abi was mentored by Hofesh Shechter and has danced for Yael Flexer, Charlie Morrissey and Gary Clarke.
She has collaborated with a range of international artists including, Simona Bertozzi (Italy), Jon Maya (Spain), writer for the BBC/ Sky Nick Walker and BAFTA nominated director Garry Crystal. Abi has extended her practice in delivering integrated professional work through a 2 year research project with StopGap.
Abi is a senior lecturer at The University of Chichester and has a passion for extending her practice to creatively engage the community.
