Meet the company of 3Fall 2024
Technical Director

Natalie Rowland

She/her
Natalie is an interdisciplinary movement artist exploring the crossovers and relationships between dance, aerial, technologies and scenographic practice. As an aerialist her work includes short films (Dreamcatcher (2020); Filament (2024)) and live performance (When in Knots (2023)), while Natalie’s lighting design practice also works with movement fundamentally at its core (Disappearing Acts by Flexer & Sandiland (2016); Calibration by Chagall van-den Berg (2017); The Hotel Experience by Lîla Dance (2018)).
Natalie’s work often invites a questioning or awareness of our relationships with technologies and the lived environment. Her unique approach to storytelling through light and metaphorical structures offers audiences new perspectives.

Alyssa Bird

She/her
Alyssa trained at Aspects of Dance Academy in Surrey, training in Modern Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Freestyle.
I am from China. I started to learn Chinese traditional dance, folk dance and Chinese classical dance when I was young, but I have learned very little ballet and modern dance. I came to Chichester because I am curious about different kinds of dance and I like the British culture very much. I am eager to learn more about dance and I hope to explore the mysteries of modern dance here. My dream is to teach modern dance to children, take them to perform, and have a clothing store of my own.
